The Four Freedoms Awards are based on a speech by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on January 6, 1941, which he outlines four essential human freedoms.

President's Award Winner - California State Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones As a founding member of Sacramento Stonewall Democrats nearly a decade ago, Sacramento's former Assemblymember, and an unwaivering advocate for the LGBT community, Dave Jones is being awarded the President's Award!
